Made from biodynamic grapes

but it is balanced by the wine's freshness and energy

This is really quite pretty and a wine that should reward up to a decade of cellaring

cherry and discreet earth elements

Clos Caillou, Chateauneuf Du Pape Vintage:2001 The 25 Anni starts asThe 2001 Chateauneuf du Pape is drinking perfectly, and to my mind, is getting close to full maturity. Black cherry and assorted darker fruits all mix nicely with notions of garrigue, licorice and wild herbs. It opens up in the glass to show a medium bodied, silky, balanced and textured style.
