Very intense

This is a very ripe ’07 in the context of the vintage but even so

I underestimated this from cask as there is excellent purity of expression on the nose with a floral red fruit quality followed by remarkably detailed flavors of solid intensity if not necessarily great density with a purity and length that are impressive

An earthier nose combines notes of red and blue pinot fruit

Camille Giroud, Meursault Vireuils Blanc other_regions_italy (from En Orveaux)Pretty and restrained aromas of acacia blossom, citrus and hazelnut along with a discreet spice hint. The succulent yet nicely detailed and vibrant medium weight flavors exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere, clean and refreshingly dry finale. This could use better depth but the potential for it is apparent.
